For mommies-to-be and new moms I found a great maternity line that offers basics that can be worn during the entire pregnancy and post-partum stages. I’ve had the opportunity to wear the products in the Ingrid & Isabel maternity line and I must say they are definitely comfortable, non-restrictive, flatter the body and are pieces that I can mix and match within my wardrobe.
Ingrid & Isabel, named after mom Ingrid and daughter Isabel, was developed while Ingrid was carrying Isabel and wanted to wear pants that still fit but was unable to button. So, she created the BellaBand a band of nylon/spandex that wraps around your belly and covers the zippers that are unable to zip and the buttons that are unable to button. It gives the illusion that you are wearing a white cami underneath your top. It does not cling tightly to the body but it does hug, which gives you a flatter and smooth appearance. The BellaBand is also offered in organic cotton that feels amazing against your skin.
Within the Ingrid & Isabel maternity line is the Essesentials Collection, that consist of a ruched tank, everyday cami, belly leggings, and everywear pant. Each piece in this particular collection is made of stretchable, breathable fabric that again hugs and flatters your body which allows you to look beautiful in your clothes. The sizing (a true fit) comes in ranges of 1-4 and you match your pre-pregnancy pant/top size to the grid they have displayed on the site to find your size.

I vote for whirled peas. That’s so funny! I do too!! :0) This onesie reminds me of when I was in the 8th grade and the boy I was madly in love with lipped ‘I love you’ across the classroom one day. I began to float. Then he came up to me during lunch and said, “You know I said ‘Elephant Shoes’ in class right?” and all the blood rushed out of my body.
Why this onesie reminded me of that story is beyond me… but it did.

Looking For A Boy’s Necktie?

I had a hard time finding my son a necktie earlier this summer when we had a formal function to attend as a family. Luckily, Liam was young enough to not really have to wear one. However, in a few years that will no longer be the case.
