Actress Jennie Garth and her family celebrate School Year’s Eve — a new national holiday developed by Cookie magazine and the National PTA to mark the new school year — on Sunday, August 30th at Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.
The School Year’s Eve celebration at Disneyland will be echoed throughout the country on the eve of local school seasons starting, as Cookie and PTA encourage families to host their own parties in honor of the new national holiday to get kids and parents ready and excited about the start of the academic year.
